Savannah's gates

A leafy gate in Savannah

I so want a gate like this one for my imaginary mansion.  I'm just sayin'.

By the way, have you entered to win a 5-night Hawaiian vacation at the Maile Sky Court Hotel in Waikiki Beach?  Today is your last day to enter and, right now, we've got about 150 entries or so . . . . get yours in TODAY!

Mikkel, we LOVE the architecture here! It's so beautiful and especially gorgeous right now because of the warm weather and the trees blooming.

If it's for your imaginary mansion, I suspect you already have one! ;-)

How true! My imaginary mansion also has a giant herb garden like Ina Garten's and is situated somewhere on a mountain. :)

This reminds me a bit of the great wrought ironwork gates we saw all over Charleston, SC...mostly the work of one artist, too.
Savannah is another place on my bucket list. I'm sure I'd love the architecture there!

We're heading to Charleston next so I'll have to keep my eye out for gates like this one. We've heard great things about Charleston! And, Savannah is wonderful - you should definitely consider making a trip here.

Ohhh, I love it! It's so romantic, like out of an old-fashioned book.

Thanks Abby! Yesterday we saw one that was similar and at the top had huge wrought iron sunflowers coming out of it! Loved it.
