Beet salad at FIG Charleston

Tomato, goat cheese, and pine nut salad

No point in burying the lede here.  I can tell you about FIG Charleston in three words: Eat here now.  Forget about the price --- yes, it's pricy --- or that you need to make reservations at least a week in advance for even a Wednesday night.  Go there.  Eat there.  And believe in what FIG stands for: Food is Good.

How funny! We literally walked past FIG Charleston yesterday - we stopped at a pet friendly spot to eat before walking past this venue but your pictures make us want to get a dog sitter. :)

Charleston is so pet-friendly isn't it? I think getting a dog sitter is a very good idea and then making a reservation to eat there!

Yes to desserts. Their desserts were the best. And who said that you can't have dessert for breakfast? :)

I used to live there and never ate there. Pretty much everywhere else though. God I miss it there.

Charleston's lovely! We really enjoyed our time in that city - we were surprised by how it's kind of like Savannah but a little less quaint and more "big city."

Everything looks delicious. I can see why you need to book in advance!

There aren't many places we eat at where we need reservations well in advance because we never know where we will be but I knew that we wanted to eat here as soon as we started planning to go to Charleston.

You take the best food photos -- these even have me contemplating trying goat cheese! Never thought that day would come. ;)

Ahhh . . . goat cheese is SO good! One of my favorites and if I can make you consider trying it, I think I've done my good deed for the day!
